Information for Patients

Speech therapists are healthcare providers who operate under medical directives.

This means that we can only provide speech therapy treatment upon presentation of a valid medical prescription. This prescription can be issued by general practitioners, neurologists, ENT specialists, internists, pediatricians, or another medical specialist.

A medical diagnosis is required. Without a medical prescription, speech therapy cannot be administered, and this applies to private patients as well.

Please note that prescriptions for patients with statutory health insurance expire 28 days after the date of issuance. Therefore, you should obtain the prescription from your doctor shortly before your first speech therapy appointment. If the prescription is marked urgent, it expires after 14 days.

Costs of Speech Therapy:

The therapy is covered by all statutory health insurance companies. Patients over the age of 18 are required to pay a co-payment of ten percent of the prescription value, plus a flat fee of ten euros. This co-payment is forwarded by us to the respective health insurance company.

Private patients are billed according to internal practice rates. Please check with your health insurance company before starting therapy to see if and to what extent the costs of speech therapy will be covered.

Registration and Process of Therapy:

Please call us at 0911 / 1807090 to schedule an initial appointment.

For the initial consultation, we need your medical prescription. If you have any additional medical documents (such as doctor’s letters), please bring them with you. During the first appointment, we will ask you about your medical history (anamnesis) and conduct specific tests to assess the condition. If necessary, you may bring a companion to the first appointment.
